This specific year is highly prized for its neck profile, often referred to as the \"64 Medium C.\" It is slightly fuller than the ultra-slim 1961–1963 necks, offering a feel more reminiscent of the famous 1959 profile. 1964 was also the final year for several desirable \"pre-corporate\" features.
