SELL YOUR GUITAR DIRECTLY TO US
For customers who would prefer a straightforward sale, we offer the opportunity to sell their instrument directly to Denmark Street Guitars.
Simply provide us with the details of your guitar, including its make, model, year, condition and photographs. Our team will review the information and discuss a potential purchase offer.
Once a price has been agreed, we can arrange for the instrument to be delivered, personally collected or transported using one of our international freight partners.
Following inspection and verification of the instrument's condition and authenticity, payment can be arranged by BACS, bank wire transfer, PayPal or cash.
No need to advertise privately, negotiate with multiple buyers or manage the sale yourself.
SELL YOUR GUITAR ON COMMISSION
For customers who would prefer to market their instrument through an established specialist dealer, we also offer a professional commission sales service.
With our prominent Denmark Street location, established international customer base and extensive network of musicians and collectors, we can introduce your guitar to buyers around the world.
Our standard commission is 20% of the mutually agreed selling price, with reduced rates considered for certain rare or particularly prestigious instruments.
We take care of the marketing, customer enquiries and sales process, keeping you informed throughout.
WE BUY COMPLETE GUITAR COLLECTIONS
Over the years, Denmark Street Guitars has developed considerable experience in purchasing and handling substantial private guitar collections.
Whether you are downsizing an established collection, selling instruments on behalf of a family member or dealing with a musician's estate, our team can provide specialist advice and a discreet, professional service.
We regularly work with collectors and sellers throughout the United Kingdom, Europe, the United States and further afield.
From a handful of instruments to an extensive collection of vintage guitars, we welcome enquiries of all sizes.
SPECIALISTS IN ARTIST-OWNED GUITARS
One of our particular areas of expertise is the acquisition and sale of instruments with significant musical provenance.
Over the years, we have worked with instruments and equipment associated with some of the most recognisable names in rock music, including Steve Howe, Noel Gallagher, John Squire, Tony Iommi and Robert Fripp, among others.
If you own a guitar previously belonging to a professional musician, or an instrument with a documented recording, touring or historical connection, we would be delighted to hear from you.
Original photographs, correspondence, certificates of authenticity and other supporting documentation can be particularly important when assessing an instrument's history and value.
PART EXCHANGE YOUR GUITAR
Thinking about upgrading your instrument or changing the direction of your collection?
We also welcome part-exchange enquiries, allowing customers to trade their existing guitars against instruments from our extensive inventory.
Whether you're considering exchanging a modern guitar for a vintage Fender, upgrading to a Gibson Custom Shop model or acquiring something particularly rare, our team will be happy to discuss the possibilities.
